Radio Replacement Interface with Built-In OnStar® Retention, Pre-Programmed Steering Wheel Control Retention and Navigation Outputs.

The RP5-GM32 interface allows the replacement of a factory radio in select General Motors vehicles with 29-bit LAN radios. Using this interface will retain factory features such as OnStar, steering wheel controls (SWC), warning chimes, Rear Seat Controls (RSC) and the BOSE amplifier when the original radio is removed. Use of this interface also allows you to program two radio functions to each SWC button by using short press long press dual command functionality. The RP5-GM32 also provides data bus driven outputs such as retained accessory power (RAP), vehicle speed sensor (VSS), illumination, reverse trigger and parking brake.

Compatibility Notes:

• Does not retain factory satellite radio
  
• For use in the following vehicles: 2012-2013 GM trucks & SUVs equipped with factory non-navigation radios must use the RP5-GM31
  2012+ 2500 & 3500 trucks equipped with factory non-navigation radios must use the RP5-GM31
  
• 2014+ Silverado & Sierra 1500 series trucks must use the RP5-GM51 In Premium Amplified Systems there will be no fading capability of the aftermarket stereo
  
• Does not retain factory XM tuner. This is built into the factory radio and is removed when the radio is removed.
  
• Sony Bluetooth SWC commands are only supported with revision 1.6.6.14 or higher

Important Notes:

• These instructions only apply to R.2.6.6.17 or later revisions. The revision info can be found on a small white sticker on the interface and packaging.
  
• The radio select rotary switch on the side of the interface must be adjusted to the proper radio setting before plugging the interface into the vehicle (see next page for setting chart).
  
• The interface comes pre-programmed for all of the vehicles factory SWC functions and does not require programming unless you wish to re-assign the SWC functions or utilize short press long press dual command functionality. The SWC can always be restored to default settings by following the procedure outlined on page 3.
  
• RSC buttons that are identical to the SWC will mimic the SWC one for one.
  
• The LED will flash whenever a SWC button is pressed.

Signature Required

Due to the valuable contents of some shipments, DBs Car Audio will only require a signature upon delivery if the order is over $500. Such guidelines will not be overruled upon the customer's request. Please understand that this is a security measure taken by our Company to ensure the safe delivery of each package and guarantee excellent service. Many of our third-party shipping carriers and payment companies require signatures upon delivery to protect against fraud and theft. Shipping Policy Disclaimer

Delivery estimates do not apply to items shipped directly from the manufacturer, nor out-of-stock items. Some items that ship from the manufacturer can only be delivered to addresses within the 48 continental states.

Standard delivery time for domestic customers will average from 2-4 business days, but can take longer in some cases. Saturday, Sunday and national holidays are not considered business days for delivery purposes.

Our Shipping Guarantee applies only to shipments delayed due to our service failure. We will not guarantee shipments that are delayed due to an act of god (ex: weather), a catastrophic event, or failure by our delivery partners. Our guarantee is also voided if incorrect billing or shipping information is given and results in your order being delayed to its destination. Our guarantee is also void if no one is available to sign for shipment when delivery attempt is made if a signature is required.
