The Metra 40-EU55 is an essential antenna adapter for upgrading your vehicle's audio system. This powered antenna adapter cable bridges your factory antenna connection to aftermarket radios, maintaining full compatibility with amplified antennas while ensuring a seamless installation.

Featuring a male Motorola™ connector with integrated power wire on one end and a male European-style FAKRA connector on the other, this adapter delivers reliable signal transmission without sacrificing your original antenna setup. Simply connect your vehicle's existing antenna cable to the FAKRA end and plug the Motorola connector into your new radio—no cutting or splicing required.

Built for durability and precision fit, the Metra 40-EU55 works with select 2002-2025 models across Audi, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, GMC, Jaguar, Jeep, Lincoln, Mini, Nissan, Pontiac, Smart, SRT, and Volkswagen vehicles. Whether you're installing a new head unit or upgrading your car audio, this adapter ensures your factory antenna continues to perform at its best with your aftermarket radio system.

If you are replacing the radio in your vehicle, this antenna cable adapter ensures that you can continue to use your original factory antenna. It is a simple yet necessary cable that adapts the vehicle’s original antenna cable to plug into an aftermarket radio with a male Motorola™ connector on one end and a male European-style FAKRA on the other.
