If they do not operate, it is likely because the incorrect CAN wire connections are being used. In 2018+ vehicles, the CAN connections must be made at the vehicle’s star connector (see page 10 for details). Failure to do so will cause the vehicle’s accessory buttons to not operate and may cause the vehicle’s battery to drain.
