Use of this interface also allows you to program two radio functions to each SWC button by using short press long press dual command functionality. The RP4-MZ11 also provides data bus driven outputs such as retained accessory power (RAP), vehicle speed sensor (VSS), illumination, reverse trigger and parking brake.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCompatibility Notes:\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e2014+ Mazda 3: Not compatible in models equipped with 7\" touchscreen\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e2013+ CX-9 equipped with BOSE must use revision 1.2.3.2 or higher\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eImportant Notes:\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe radio select rotary switch on the side of the interface must be adjusted to the proper radio setting before plugging the interface into the vehicle (see next page for setting chart). \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe LED will flash whenever a SWC button is pressed.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe interface comes pre-programmed for all of the vehicles factory SWC functions and does not require programming unless you wish to re-assign the SWC functions or utilize short press long press dual command functionality. The SWC can always be restored to default settings by pressing and releasing the program button on the side of the interface once and waiting 7 seconds for the LED to flash 4 times. \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe settings menu cannot be accessed in the 2013 Mazda 3 with navigation. \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf using this interface in a Mazda CX-5 or 2014+ Mazda 6, all vehicle settings must be finalized before removing the factory radio. \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf using in a veheicle equipped with a factory BOSE system, it may be necessary to use a Line Output Converter or connect RCAs to the speaker wire and use the aftermarket radio’s low level
